In August of 2008, shortly after Jarrod and I moved into our second apartment, and three months after getting married, we welcomed our first child into our home. Furry child, that is.
Samson (Sammy) became part of our family when he was just eight weeks old. We bought him new toys, lots of treats, fresh dishes, and we were excited to have a pet. Jarrod was to deploy a month later, so, I was looking forward to having a companion while he was in Iraq. Sammy and I, we had memories in that apartment, nice walks through the complex, etc.
But if you've been in a similar situation, getting a pet early in your relationship or marriage, and you have children now, you know things change once that baby comes along. That furry pet is your buddy and you spoil him or her like crazy. Then, children come along, and suddenly, they get pushed back a bit. (...or a lot.)
In our case, we got Zia two months before finding out I was pregnant with Ethan, so, we added a second furry child before our human child came along. ;) So, we had two spoiled pups before Ethan.
While we make sure they're fed great food and taken care of, we don't spoil them the way we used to, admittedly.
Recently, however, we received this fun little bundle from Pastries 2 Pawstries on Etsy. I mean...if you're thinking these look as good as I do, you'll be happy to know I tested them. No. I'm kidding. I didn't. ;) But you will be happy to know your pup will LOVE these treats, if he or she is anything like Sammy or Zia, and not only will THEY love them, but when you see the ingredients, you will, too.
All pawstries are made with 100% natural and human grade ingredients! The shop owner, HJ, will even do custom orders for you!
We received the Canineolis and Coconut Cookie Balls, and they were loved! Surprisingly, we have some cookie balls left, but those Canineolis, they were gone not long after receiving them.
Now, Pastries 2 Pawstries wants to treat YOUR pup(s). By giving one winner their choice of either Coconut Cookie Balls or Yogurt Canineolis.
Want in on some of these organic goodies? The rules are quite simple, really...

These are so cute, Mia would love these! :)
ReplyDeleteI love these! Sadly, I can't participate since I don't have Facebook (really hate when that is a requirement). I always wish companies like that would reach out to me because I am obsessed with reviewing dog stuff - Ruby would love those cannoli's! Your pups are adorable.
