Now that the dust is settling a bit over here, I'm hoping to sit down and get some more blogging done. I'll have my first Project 365 recap up tomorrow, but since today is one week in our house, I thought I'd show you some updated photos of what we've been up to. (See. I told you I'd take more pictures once we were in our house.)
I am really loving this open, pretty space at the entrance of our home more than I expected to. It's nice to walk into our house and not walk straight into a room. The foyer area is the one area I think I have the most pins on Pinterest saved for because there are so many ways to decorate it, and I think your foyer should be nice! It's what people see first when they walk into your house. So, I'm hoping to have a nicely-decorated foyer soon!
Right now (and maybe forever - ha), the kitchen is where I spend most of my time. It's the first room I wanted unpacked entirely, and I am still so very much in love with it. My husband can make fun of my "million dollar cabinets" (They were one of our upgrades from a standard maple cabinet.) all he wants. I believe my selection of cabinets and countertops were a great one, and it's the one room most people tell me they love. I win.
Our brand new fridge and washer were delivered yesterday. After a week with no washer and a week with a small, temporary fridge, it was so lovely to get some laundry done and go to the store for some groceries.
Ethan's favorite part of our house is the garage. Multiple times a day, he asks to go in the garage. My guess is because that's where all of his fun, outdoor toys are currently. Jarrod sometimes lets Ethan come outside with him when he waters the grass in the evening. Being outside is what this boy lives for.
Our first week in our new home has been just as amazing as we had anticipated, and I am loving our time spent here already, making memories.
